It only takes a few minutes – and the more precisely you describe your move, the more accurate your quote will be.
A contract is only formed once you accept the quote and receive our written confirmation, so you can request a quote even while your move is still being planned.
What information does a moving quote need?
- Type of move – a whole home, a partial move or a single transport
- Moving date – and whether it is flexible
- Departure and destination address with postcodes
- Type and size of the home – e.g. a two-room apartment or a detached house, and the square metres
- Floor and lift at both addresses, and whether the van can park at the entrance
- Add-on services – packing, moving boxes, move-out cleaning or furniture disassembly and assembly
In the additional information, also mention heavy items or furniture that does not fit in the lift, long carrying distances, storage rooms and garages, and any restrictions on the driving route. They affect how long the job takes, so the quote matches the real workload.
What does the moving quote include?
The quote shows what your move includes and what it costs before anything is agreed. Every move includes experienced movers and a large van. You can add packing, moving boxes and move-out cleaning to the same quote. If the scope of the move changes after the quote, the price may change accordingly.
