Pavements in central Helsinki are the property’s responsibility
According to the City of Helsinki, in the inner city the property is responsible for ploughing and gritting the pavement in front of it. Elsewhere in Helsinki, the property must open its plot entrances after ploughing. In Espoo and Vantaa, too, the plot entrance is the property owner’s responsibility.
Household tax credit
The household tax credit is only available for work you have ordered and paid for yourself. Snow removal ordered by the housing company and paid with maintenance charges therefore does not qualify.
